Located just 2.5 hours from Santo Domingo International Airport, El Valle provides a sense of “being far away” without complicated logistics. The valley is surrounded by mountains, jungle, rivers, waterfalls, and paradise beaches — meaning your retreat has everything in one place.
What makes El Valle truly unique is its exclusivity. There is no mass tourism, no clubs, no bars, and no hotel zone. In fact, our retreat complex is the only accommodation located directly near the beach — the next nearest hotel is a 15-minute drive away. This creates a rare environment of privacy, safety, and immersion in nature, ideal for transformational retreats.

Adrian is the operational backbone of LaMaca, overseeing logistics, infrastructure, and on-the-ground coordination. With a deep understanding of El Valle and years of experience managing retreats and events, he ensures that every detail runs smoothly — from transportation and excursions to daily flow and guest experience.

Leticia
LETI IS THE HEART AND VISION BEHIND LAMACA. HAVING LIVED IN EL VALLE FOR SEVERAL YEARS, SHE BRIDGES THE WORLDS OF INTERNATIONAL RETREAT HOSTING AND LOCAL COMMUNITY CONNECTION. HER EXPERIENCE AS BOTH A RETREAT ORGANIZER AND HOST ALLOWS HER TO SUPPORT FACILITATORS NOT ONLY LOGISTICALLY, BUT CREATIVELY AND ENERGETICALLY AS WELL.

The right hand of the organizers all year long. From managing social media all year long to answering emails and WhatsApp messages, she also runs the wellness department during the retreat. Oh, and fun fact: she’s a close friend of her bosses and somehow still wants to hang out with them

Operational Logistics

The true boss behind the scenes. She leads the entire logistics team, handles sound equipment orders, organizes the boat excursions… and even mediates Leticia and Adrián’s arguments. Calm under pressure and always solving everyone’s problems.

Liss Tolentino

Marketing Director

The strategy brain behind Lamaca Travel’s growth. She builds the systems, designs the campaigns, and somehow enjoys a good funnel. Also an artist, so yes, there’s always a creative twist behind the structure. Equal parts spreadsheets, music and paintbrushes.

Media Manager

The editing wizard behind all those epic videos you see online. His creativity is outrageous. He is also a talented singer and guaranteed to make the team laugh at least five times a day.

Purchasing & Finance Lead

The queen of supplies and spreadsheets. She buys everything from participant t-shirts to banners and bracelets, while also handling the wild beast known as retreat accounting. Bonus: she’s also the team’s emotional support system. Legendary
